Richard T. Caruso, Board Certified Ocularist
Background
Richard is currently a Board Certified and Board Approved Diplomat member of the American Society of Ocularists.
He received his degree in Dental Laboratory Technology in 1986. He also completed the Maxillo-Facial Program at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware in 1990. After completion of this program he was hired by the Denver Optic Company in Englewood, Colorado where he served his apprenticeship in ocular prosthetics.
In 1992, Richard moved to Salt Lake City to open Eye Prosthetics of Utah, Inc. He became the sole owner of this office in 1996. He provides full-time ocular prosthesis services for Utah and surrounding areas.
SERVICES
Custom made and fitted artificial eyes including full prostheses, scleral shells, routine cleaning/polishes, enlargements and refittings as well as free consultations.
Our staff is available to provide complete insurance claim processing including pre-authorization and verification of insurance coverage with the carriers.
