BACKGROUND
Richard received his degree in Dental Laboratory Technology in 1986. He also
completed the Maxillo-Facial Program at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in
Wilmington, Delaware. After completion of this program he was hired by the Denver
Optic Company in Englewood, Colorado where he served his apprenticeship in ocular
prosthetics. Richard graduated from the American Society of Ocularist Ophthalmic
Prosthetics program in 2002.
In 1992, he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to open Eye Prosthetics of Utah. He became
the sole owner of this office in 1996. He provides full-time service for Utah and
surrounding areas and also travels twice yearly to St. George, Utah. Richard has been a
diplomate member of the American Society of Ocularists since 1992 and is actively
involved on the Facilities Committee for the society.
